Down Under Steakhouse & Cocktailbar in Mindelheim

Got a table for 4 people Plus toddler ordered Were greeted warmly at reception. A table was reserved and a chair was available for the little guest. The food was very good, the service very friendly. Price-performance ratio Is very good. All in all very recommendable!

It was our first time down under for breakfast - not the last! There is a very rich breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired - coffee included. The restaurant is modern and yet comfortably furnished - highly recommended ......

Very stylishly furnished restaurant. Modern, but not too loud music. The rump steak 250g 🥩 with a small salad 🥗 from the salad bar was very tasty. Price performance also fits. Finally, a cocktail 🍸

According to the website 12.00 for breakfast the service said 15.00 first minus point. At 9:00 a roll came only in the basket, was only spartanly refilled with everything

Were there for breakfast today! Really great! Very nice, clean breakfast buffet, it is regularly refilled and although everything is self-service, you are regularly asked whether everything fits! Really delicious, and really something for everyone! Very friendly staff! We'll be back for breakfast next week 👍🏻! And the steaks and cocktails will definitely be tried out too !! The only small point of criticism is that a price of 12 € per person is given on the internet and the buffet is actually charged at 15 €! But still much better than many other localities in Mindelheim! You definitely have to visit!

A very modern, yet cozy atmosphere invites you to eat or have a cocktail. The staff are really courteous, quick and super friendly. The service was great and the food was delicious. Breakfast and dinner are recommended and the price-performance ratio is also right. As a guest, you feel well cared for here and this also shows the cheerful and exuberant mood in the restaurant and at the bar. The small lobby also fits wonderfully with the charming flair of the down under between birch trunks, which take the industrial away from the room and make everything look more lively , and amusing pictures on the wall. I see room for improvement in the entrance area and in the lighting concept at the bar. All in all, the down under is definitely worth a visit and is not only suitable for young people for a relaxed evening with friends.

Not suitable for lunch. There is an interesting evening menu, but before that there is only the lunch buffet with salad. This consisted of a not bad soup, 4 dishes (potatoes, spaghetti, cabbage spaetzle and natural cream schnitzel). The schnitzel was initially empty and the spaghetti overcooked. When there was schnitzel, it was cooked instead of seared and not through, sometimes pink. 8.90 € is too much for salad and soup, apart from the small selection.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Breakfast was very good, especially the fresh fruit. Also highly recommended for dinner. The steak was cooked on the spot. Finally there is such a place in Mindelheim.

I tested the lunch buffet. Very tasty, something different than the usual roast with spaetzle and sauce. Everything freshly prepared, large selection of salads and delicious dessert. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely come here more often. 👍👍👍

There were four of us here today (one week after opening). The salad buffet was stocked with a good selection and is highly recommended for this price. The steaks were fried at the desired cooking level and were very tasty. The plates could have been preheated because the steaks quickly became cold. The mushrooms were sufficient and very tasty with three different dips. The waitresses were overwhelmed, but very friendly. All in all very tasty and we would come again! 👍🏻
